Jesse Jane was born Cindy Taylor on July 16, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a military brat, who grew up on army bases in the Midwest. She described herself as a tomboy, who did sports, dance training, and was a cheerleader in high school. Jane graduated Moore High School in Oklahoma in 1998 and started working as a Hooters manager. She also appeared in numerous TV commercials, won several Hawaiian Tropic pageants, and made a cameo in a Baywatch movie. Jane started her career in the adult industry in 2003, working alongside Devon in a girl/girl scene in the movie No Limits. Eventually, she began appearing in numerous adult films and adult-only cable TV shows. In 2005, Jane starred in the successful action-adventure porn movie Pirates and the sequel, Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge, which is considered as the most expensive adult movie ever produced. She also made numerous appearances on mainstream movies and TV shows and was featured on the CNBC documentary, Porn: Business of Pleasure. Jane was married for two years to fellow adult performer Rick Patrick, with whom she has a son, and announced their separation on her Twitter account in 2012. In 2017, she announced her retirement from the adult industry on The Morning After radio show.
